Free and Basic plan limits

Outcome

You can plan an Envelope and its follow-up actions within the current plan limits.

Before you start

• Confirm the plan shown for the Sender account.
• Count only Recipients when you check the per-Envelope limit.
• Separate the initial invitation from later resend actions.

Steps

1. Use the table below to identify the current plan limit.
2. Count the Recipients you plan to add. Do not include the Sender in that count.
3. Choose the invitation delivery path for Free or Basic.
4. Check the separate invitation and completion email resend limits before using a resend.
5. Complete and send the Envelope before its 72-hour expiration.

What happens next

A Basic monthly send is counted when the Sender moves the Envelope into the sending stage, not when a Draft is created. Invitation and completion email resend counts are tracked separately.

Warnings and limitations

• The Sender does not count toward the Recipient limit.
• The 30-Envelope limit applies each month to Basic Monthly and Basic Yearly.
• An invitation resend does not consume the completion email resend limit, or the reverse.
• Plan limits do not extend the 72-hour Envelope expiration period.

Troubleshooting

• If you cannot add another Recipient, compare the current count with the per-Envelope limit.
• If a resend is unavailable, confirm that its separate plan limit is not exhausted.
• If the same Recipient was recently sent an invitation again, wait for the one-hour cooldown.
• If an Envelope is Expired, create a new Envelope. A plan change does not reactivate it.
