How to delete your Sign For Free account
You can permanently delete your Sign For Free account and its data yourself, from the web or from the mobile app. After you confirm your identity, we accept the request and process deletion in the background. The request cannot be undone.
Delete from the web
- Sign in and open Settings.
- In the Delete account section, read the warning, type your account email to confirm, press Delete my account permanently, then use the separate continue button to confirm with your sign-in provider.
After your request is accepted
A successful request means deletion has been accepted, not that every server-side cleanup step finished at that instant. The deletion worker normally completes in the background. If your account remains available or you need help, contact [email protected].
If automatic Sign in with Apple access revocation is unavailable, the app lets you retry, cancel, or continue after showing the Apple account-management instructions.
Delete from the mobile app
- Open the app and go to Settings.
- In the Delete account section, type your account email to confirm and press the delete button.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile and sign-in account (Google/Apple-linked identity in our system).
- All of your envelopes and their documents — including envelopes still in progress. Pending signature requests in those envelopes are automatically voided.
What is not affected
- Completed documents that were already emailed to participants: everyone keeps their emailed copy, and those documents remain verifiable with the built-in verifier (verification does not depend on our servers).
- Purchases are managed by Apple App Store / Google Play and follow the store’s own policies. Manage or cancel a subscription in the store before deleting your Sign For Free account.
Data stored on your devices
We attempt to remove the current browser or device’s owner-scoped drafts, signatures, and stamps as part of the deletion flow. Data stored only on another browser or device cannot be remotely erased by our server; remove the app or clear that browser’s site data on the other device.
Can’t sign in?
If you can no longer sign in and need your account deleted, contact [email protected] from the email address associated with the account and we will process the request.
